All attendees are welcome to register for this private walking tour of Montreal that takes you through 6 different neighbourhoods from Old Montreal to the top of Mont-Royal park. Learn how Montreal came to be the modern city it is today, visit various neighbourhoods from historical Old Montreal, surprisingly green Downtown Montreal, picturesque McGill University and more. Admire countless public art works & new urban park installations, and marvel at the city's diverse architecture. Explore part of the 33+km long underground city network and find a piece of the Berlin wall and walk the carefully crafted urban path connecting the St-Lawrence river to the peaceful forested Mont-Royal park.
This tour does not conflict with the general sessions. All attendees are welcome. Please dress appropriately for the weather, this tour is outdoors.
This 3 hour guided walking tour brings you on a culinary voyage through Montreal’s most historical district. We walk through European style cobblestone streets to 5 different tasting locations In between food tastings we visit historical sights, learning about Montreal’s culture and history in a fresh, local way.
Note: This tour conflicts with ARM events and is designed for retirees and spouses.
